On Friday, September 22nd, Living Waters Inc hosted Building Bridges for Black Youth Wellness. The event was a call to action for Black youth well well-being. This was an invitation-only event.
Faith leaders, parents/caregivers, youth servicing organizations, and academia engaged in dialogue to promote partnerships for improving Black youth wellness. The Moderator/Host was Joseph Graham, Jr.
Speakers for the event included Dr. Kendra Jason and A. Maurice Harvey.
The event was held at the Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City. We are thankful for our partners: Black Youth Wellness Initiative, Faith & Mental Health Ministry, Department of Sociology at UNC Charlotte, AB&T Accounting Bookkeeping & Tax Financial Services Plus Inc., Mecklenburg County Public Health, ReCAST Mecklenburg, Urban Institute, and BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina.
