Claretha Rowell, MSW, QP

Claretha Rowell has been a long-time advocate for children and families. She has worked with abused and neglected children since 1987. Getting her start with the Forsyth County Department of Social Services, Claretha’s work focused on establishing permanency for children whether it was through family reunification or adoption.

By 1994, she went to work for Appalachian Family Innovations where she trained and worked with hundreds of foster and adoptive parents across the NC Piedmont area. For the past 11 years, Claretha has been employed with Children’s Hope Alliance (CHA) providing adoption and post-adoption services to the families and children of NC. She is currently employed as the Adoption/Post Adopt Program Manager for CHA.
